Do a search here for SMEMA standards, I had problems a while back and had to swap some wires on an OEM's machine to get it to interface correctly to our equipment. Probably not the same problem as your having but I did write a long winded explinatio

Don't suppose the coil manufacture could make the coil with the leads coming straight out from the winding on opposite sides and on the same plane. Then it can't roll around. SMT pads may have to be staggered a bit. Just a thought.

Does anyone use or have any simple wave/reflow oven exhaust monitors with a visual check (LED). I was going to design something crude resembling a fan with an electric winding (electric motor of sorts)and a load (resistor maybe with a transistor if

Try a "cross" design across the problem apertures. So you wind up with 4 smaller deposits on the PCB (instead of 1 big one) but should be enough to hold the component. It worked for us and was much easier on the blades (they kept catching on the far

You can get the bulbs already mounted in the holder from RoyonicUSA (www.royonicusa.com). They are $79.00, part number 212. If you try to buy a bulb and align it in the holder, you probably won't be successful as the bulbs are factory mounted and a

Are you sure your units are correct? Is this in the exhaust duct or actually in the reflow area? 4000 FPM = 67 FPS or 45 MPH (73 km/H). I have no doubt such a wind would blow larger parts off the board. If this is only in the exhaust ducting, the

We used these same type of parameters regardless of the QFN package size. We used componentes that ranged from 3x3mm to 12x12mm Same idea. The reduction in solder paste for the center pad is the key. Too much, and you wind up with no connects at the

hi, if the blower is stuck, check the pully shaft whether it is correctly fixed with fans. if price is concern, you can remove the motor and get it repair by re-winding of motor coil. if price is no concern you can change complete assemly or motor a

Vapor soldering has some advantages for heavy boards, especially in energy transfer to the board and solder. The soldering temperature is fixed by the boiling point of the liquid used, and will not exceed that temperature, another advantage. The tr
