This is from 1995/96 time frame. I believe they sold their business to Philips and now Assembleon. Good luck! Comtra Systems, Inc. 2585 North Fairview Ave. Roseville, MN 55113 612-633-4084 800-936-6286

We are having significant issues with lead free parts on leaded assemblies. Particularly grainy and non-wetted solder joints. Does anyone have any solutions.

Snap on is likely to have less of an effect than soldered on, as the solder forms more of an effective Faraday cage. That said, it depends on how effective you need it. Rob.

We have used these shield clips from Autosplice to good effect. The clips are placed and reflowed on your SMT line and the shield fitted before test. It depends on the demands of your product as to whether these are suitable. http://www.autosplice.c

Working on it, this part appears to always be consigned here!! it is only part on BOM of products that I remember using it with no MFGR data!!! I will keep looking though. you may just want to do a search and contact some of these MFGrs. Russ

You could try Gore's Snapshot sheild, we use them on a product here, very effective. (No I am not affiliated with Gore!) http://www.gore.com/en_xx/products/electronic/emi/emi_shielding.html

Hi does anyone know if it is possible to convert a JOT buffer into a board loader only? We plan to hand load the machine on one end to fill up the 30 slots and have the machine just feed that to the rest of the line. Any help is greatly appreciated!
