Stick with what you already know. A GSM1 with a 4 spindle head is the way to go. Its excellent for balancing a line becuase you can place anything with it. Or if you need to dispence glue or odd form parts you can add another head later.

Does anybody know of a RoHS Compliant PCB Repair Kit? (I've dug around a little, and found several kits, but none of them mention being RoHS Compliant.) Any feed-back would be appreciated!

What exactly do you require in this kit? Most PCB repair I am aware of is traces/pads and epoxy, neither of which contains lead. Please explain what you need in rohs compliance? Russ

Why yes you do!!! Now you know if you make someone put RoHS compliant on their packaging that we will have to pay more for the same product right? hahaha I am not aware of anyone that has this published claim. Good Luck Russ

The different coefficient of expansion of materials used in some BGA can cause warping issues. We've talked about this previously on SMTnet. Search the fine SMTnet Archives. For instance: http://www.smtnet.com/forums/Index.cfm?CFApp=1&Message_ID=2

Help us understand your question better by answering the following: * What is a 'used PCBA'? [Are these boards returned from a customer?] * What is on these boards that needs to be cleaned? * How clean do the boards need to be? How is this cleanline

Hi all All you wave soldering people, have you had any trouble in keeping the copper level of your SAC solder pots under control? How do you combat the gradual rise of copper contents owing to dissolution from through-hole component leads etc.?

Hi, We are using SACX and have not noticed any rise in copper. I do know that there are Solder Bars available without the Copper to try and bring the level under control. aj...

Steve, We use Heraeus PD 945 and clean with Electrolube SSS. It gives us a good result with both hand and ultrasonic cleaning. Also does a good job on solder paste.
