Thanks for the feedback. I was looking into solder pastes and saw some advertised specifically for low voiding by Indium and another supplier. This is customer driven - requesting voids in the single digit percent for components with thermal pad

Does anyone have a good supplier of High Temp Chain Oil for a reflow oven in the United States?

I need the software for a Vitronics SMD 522 oven. I contacted the people from Vitronics but they could not help me. Can anybody help with this software? Thanks a lot.

Hi Robl, Thanks for your qucik reply!! , i understand if we use aggresive flux that we can impove solder wetting over nickel plate vs PCB pads & we need to solder through 12 zones reflow oven. Prem

Sounds like bent rails. Do you have a laser pen you can shine down both sides of both rails to see if there is any curve?

Ideally size should be the same all across - parallelism. If you see different you should fix it. I would suggest instead of measuring it, to use a huge PCB and move it all the way to prove rails are in parallel.

Would like to get feedback on realignment of an SMT line with loader/unloader, printer, p&p and 16' oven. What tech would be good to use if doing it ourselves? (Lasers, etc?) What companies can be recommended for a professional job?

I will look into using an oven to raise the module's temp when I have the chance. This could be our only way to use existing technology that only allows for temps below what we're seeing.

The 1500 is rated for up to 300c. So it shouldn't have a problem with lead free right? http://www.petlock.com/data/Heller_1500_specs.htm
