Yes, The feeder graphic shows the leads at 180 degrees. The part is in the reel at 180 degrees when feeder is mounted on front side. The component graphic has the leads at 0 degrees. All parts are comeing from the same reel.

Bottom line is to stay away from attempting to sequence different part number in the same reel. You are asking for trouble with this approach. Work on operator training, efficiencies and organization. Best of Luck, Shawn

Can you say reel splits. We do our share of reel splits. some times up to 17 per day. It has seemed to get less due to Customer P/N. But there is still a large #. Carl

I want to know how is your feel to buy components in 13" reels rather than in the 7" reels. Obviously enough is that machines will stop less for replenishment, but what about the value of the stock?? What is your comment?

cap and resistor Parts are cheap! $10 vs. $20 or so? If you are worried about inventory cost than only buy your top 10 or so runners in the large reels. I am a big fan of large reels for the high running caps and Resistors.

All of the 402 parts that we use come on 8X4 reels; double check the part pitch on the reel.

That Fuji won't sell the reel by itself is difficult to believe. Is there a part number assigned to the reel? If so...they will sell it.

We're not buying stips, they're whole reels at first. But because of things like discrete order sizes, or proto builds, or otherwise low-volume production, we're stuck with leftovers.
