Hi, We have refurbished blowers. Cleaned them, changed bearings, capacitor. These parts are standard parts, you will find them in "any" hardware store and Radio Shack type dealers.

If you are just wanting a replacement blower for your air crossflow cooling section. You should be able to purchase through Electrovert cheaper than $1600 dollars. Someone must have quoted you more than just a replacement blower.

Try looking @ a company called VideoJet - I've used them to mark parts in the past with pretty good results. They may be able to help ya. DG

Have you checked out Alpha Wire Co. FIT-Print tubing? http://www.alphawire.com/pages/141.cfm I don't know if this is what you are looking for or not.

Ditto what Russ said. We are doing the same with the same results. We also will add 10-15mils to the toe end of the pads to have some chance at forming a toe fillet. MFG'r recommended padstacks are not to be trusted. We only process with no-clean

We generaly reduce 25% and get great heat sink capability. Mind you that we do not perferate the pad with vias as recommended. Our toe ends are not plated, so getting any toe fillet is impossible.

solder paste [ top side ] Actually it's kinda the norm in most places. Subjects your active components to one less heat cycle.

Check your battery back up if you have it. If I remember correctly, you may have to manually switch your wiring to by pass a dead battery back-up.
