Hi, we have 4 DEK 265 infinity, all with blue underscreen cleaner (with paper rolls), it doesn't make miracles :) but if you have good solvant system (not too much - you flood the paper and not too small) then works OK on some of our DEKs (y 2000) t

What causes BGA voids over 25%? Have recommended profile for solder paste, hit 237C for 5 seconds and still get a void on 2% of specific BGA in various locations. BGA is FG676, 1mm pitch, on ImAg using lead free paste OM338 on a 6 layer FR4 PCB.

Thanks for the comments and advice. The rest of the components have good solderability except for the BGA that fell off. Our production is high mix low volume so the quantity was very small. I'll check the pcb lands next time I run. It could be a con

AJ, You can use 0402 feeders to place the 0201 parts. I would suggest getting the feeders you are going to use calibrated before trying to run the parts. Also, another good idea is to get some 0.4mm tape leaf covers for the feeders. They will h

I have never heard of this being done. The limitation is the camera. Also, I am not aware of anyone making CP4 nozzles for 0201's. If you want a Fuji that will do 0201's get a CP642 and upgrade the camera, or buy a CP643.(643's are set up for 0201's

Fresh start on making boards

Judging from the questions you ask, the answer to #4 is no. If you really want to succeed I suggest you go work for a CM and learn the trade. Either that or team up with Bash the SMT tech and start a comical fly on the wall series for Discovery. I'

RNETs and Lead Free

We have a board that uses 0402x4 RNET packages that we are having a difficult time getting to solder consistently. Paste deposition is fine (using AIM WS353) and profile is dead-nuts. I'm starting to wonder if this is something that we're just goin
