SAC305 Lead Frame Component with Leaded Process?

Electronics Forum | Wed Sep 17 09:33:08 EDT 2008 | vladig

There is one thing you should keep in mind, though. It's better not to have any area of the leads covered with only SAC after re-flow, just to make sure you Sn-whiskers won't have any chance to grow :-) Vlad

Way to port SMT program from Mydata to Panasonic?

I have a feeling that that software would cost more than his machines are worth. My9, MSH2, and MPA3's are not exactly cutting edge anymore.

Ray, 10x16 should give you .62 area ratio, Theoretical Solder Volume=800. You should increase the width and the length to get better solder release.

Hi, if it is for all your products, for me it looks like a camera cable or camera problem. You are loosing connection and get the message. FFFC looks like a fatal error. If it is only one product, play with the lighting and treshold. Regards, Emi

If you're having trouble with a specific board, double check your Pattern, Diameter, Color and Scan Area under the 'Mark Data' tab. You can also try setting the Pitch Tolerance to '0' in the machine configuration. Good Luck, Bill
