Does anyone have a recommendation for a cleaning solution used in an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning RMA solder paste off stencils and adhesive off pcb boards. I am going to be evaluating Armakleen 2001, Zestron Vigon SC 200, and Aqueous Technologies

One of our board vendors recently switched their stencil design to home plate apertures. Since the change the quality and yield of their PCB's has went south, Could this process change be the cause?

please look at trying lazer cut stencils. They have trapozoidal shaped apertures and this could assist with the paste releasing onto y the PCB

Well none of us, really know whether, this 0805 CAP is really an unsolder/tombstone defect, coz none of us verfied this with, our own eyes *duh* Funny, this only happened for us, on 0402 ~ 0201 SMD.... Check your land-pad design specifications, if

Oh yes, thats the thing with the PCB houses, always doing such things with our precious data and or wishes of the ideal paddesign. Without any aperture reduction we would have enough troubles with the PCBs we mostly get. Wolfgang

You might want to check your paste application. We eliminated this problem with reduced aperatures, and homeplate designs on our stencil. The paste process is very important in eliminating solder balls. See Solder aperature guidlines in the forum.

Hi, I'm facing smear after printing on DEK288 using reverse squeegee at the edge of panels. I've checked the fixture, printing parameter, stencil, solder paste. What else can I do?
