Next step trace the RS232 cable. Check all output voltages on your power supplys, b oth loaded an d unloaded. Note any differences. Check he impedancesa of your loads ie is your 24 volt load only measuring a few ohms. You may have a short? sarason

We ended up purchasing direct from Superior. It was like $300 for one gallon so pretty steep but considering it should last me over a year and save untold hours of labor during the course of that year, small price to pay. Side note: If at all possi

Thanks a lot for your input! Including specific notes on the stencil sounds like a good plan, and I'll make sure to communicate that. If the shipping process becomes cumbersome with multiple stencils, I'll definitely consider the option of a low-cost

Russ: Thats a pretty stand-up postin bud. Its neat that you can root-out that dirt. We couldnt dig-up that stuff, if they threatened to shoot the dog. You could be correct about using convex for waving. We dont wave RNET as Philips suggests

hello; When we are doing component land pattern design , one thing will always be in our mind; that is the basic criteria or common land pattern design guideline for reflow and flow solder assemblies. For basic fomula in calculating resistors are:

Hi Just a few notes below on this forum the same thing was discussed. It probably would have been better to update that note rather than start a new tread. Hey it makes it easier for all or us and YOU. Check the note out, and also check the archive

First, on your reflow temperature comment: The 183*C focus for reflow recipes for tin-lead solder is a falicy. If you held a recipe for tin-lead solder at 183*C peak, it would never reflow. Recipes for tin-lead solder need to be at liquidus plus 20*C

Hi, Can anyone help me on how to choose profile points in wave soldering...e.g. smallest like R, C, to biggest like transformer heatsink etc.... Are the thermo-couples supposed to be on top of the pcb or at the bottom touching the solder bath when fl

Hi There are a couple of options that you have: 1) have you tried to open the file using note pad, is it an ascii text format? 2)if it is a ascii file then you can edit the file by just leaving the centroid information. 3)OR call Fuji America at 847.

Hi Guys, Ive seen your notes on Wave dwell times, we have been doing lots of test across many styles of wave machines. The most inportant thing to understand is that your dwell time does vary across the wave, it can vary as much as 2 to 5 secs from
