Check the pcb layers. Maybe it gets hotter in certain areas of the board. Most parts being wave soldered should be clinched, crimped whatever to avoid this. What parts are lifting?

Paste w/ 2% silver has a eutectic temp of 179deg.C vs. 183deg.C for std. 63/37. The 2% can give better wetting in some applications.

Actually VCO's are a common term in my neck of the woods (RF and wireless equipment), but not in the context that Eric used the term. I think you are right about him wanting a VOC, because to me a VCO is a Voltage Controlled Oscillator... Regards.

to use the fuji america office you have to be a registered customer, which we are not since we are based in the uk. we cannot go to the uk fuji agent either
