Is there a indutry standard on SMT datecode? My last company's guideline was two years but I don't remember seeing any specific studies. Thanks.

Mysterious reflow problem

I had this issue a few years ago with Kingbright LED's. The problem was extreamly random. When i changed to a different datecode my problem went away.

Sounds like you have a component problem! I say this because you say the sodler is flowing away from the components (leads I assume) This sounds like none wetting of the component. Do a solderability test on the parts. Take the parts and dip the lead
