Would you recommend a Yamaha Pick and place? In terms of reliability, accuracy, cph? We're looking for a pick and place that can deliver a 50 micron accuracy. What brands do you recommend for high accuracy placements?

It'll just transfer the load to your compressor, and who knows how efficient your venturi pump (which can also be noisy) will be (IOW, how much load it puts on your compressor is anyone's guess)? I'd just replace or rebuild the vacuum pump, person

I am looking for a Mydata users group, one possibly located in the Chicago area. If such a group does not exist, I would be more than happy to help start one. I have an older Mydata TP9 (non-UNIX) machine, with weak (yet expensive) support from the m

Good question :) I'd say with a machine that is available for an average pick and place operator nowadays. Our manufacturer is not fixed yet, that's why I don't have any specific. On a related note I'm wondering whether the machine is so importan

Hi Folks, I'm working on a LED display that is composed of multiple layers. What is interesting for the point of this discussion is the PCB layer and the light deflector layer on top of it. Please take a look at the related pictures at http://plus

I would expect any half decent machine to place 0603 parts slap bang on target to the typical defined accuracy for such parts on most machines of perhaps ~60 microns or better. Self correction during reflow is IMHO much less pronounced with lead-free
