Make sure the board is stopping at the center of the worknest or you will waste lots of time (you'll get software limit errors when you try to find fids.). If it's not in the center, you need to go in and reteach from scratch (doesn't take too long).

Believe me, I don't see any problem about optimization on Placement equipment nor printing or even the oven, my concerns are with the people: - Am I on the limit to assemble about 1100 to 1200 boards per shift (8 hours)? I have seen some of our lines

Hi ! The main problem being faced currently is formation of solder balls - to be precise, these are micro solder beads generally found attached with bodies of SOTs, Chip Caps, Chip Resistors, between pins of SOICs (50 mil) - lying on PCB surface,

An issue just came up concerning the color of FR-4. By accident we received a prototype board that was blue. We like the looks of it but can not justify a change because it looks cool. My questions are: 1: Why are most common PCB's green? 2: What are

we keep some extra chain belt that is used in most washers and reflow ovens. We have not had any problems. Our wash has slightly more pressure comming from the top nozzles than the bottom nozzles. same for the air. This will hold the boards down in t

One word of caution, depending on the complexity of the boards and package, the Xray on Jewel Box may not be powerful enough to show the voiding defects within the solder sphere. We ran a board side by side against a high end system and find that out

We have now switched to Kester EP256. During our solder paste evaluation, resistance to humidity was one of the selection criteria. We printed multiple boards, then exposed them to 85F/65% RH. At 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours exposure
