It is possible, yes. I think that also some printers offer this option as for them, locally, so you maybe don't need to pay for a whole system. What kind of printers do you have?

I worked with one accuflex, but it didn't have that option on it. I know that MPM offers its own software called PrintTrack: http://www.speedlinetech.com/products/printers/features?node_title=Accela So maybe you just have to buy that option for you.

Try Axiom Electronics in Beaverton. They do BGA X-ray and BGA rework/replacement for us. I don't know what your exact needs are but give them a try. www.axiomsmt.com
