The cover tape on 0805, 1206 and IC reels occasionally does not pull back clear of the tape and our Fuji IP-1 stops. Although some feeders appear to be more vulnerable to this than others, is this a feeder problem or is this a material problem with

I am running a Sasmsung CP40-LV machine (which itself works fine). However, the thing holding up production is that I am often experiencing tape cover not being pulled back by the feeders. What part of the feeder is most likely to cause this? I have

Is the problem with the same component or manufacturer? Just for kicks, load a different component on the same feeder. Run machine in trial mode and place only that component on double sided tape. Gary
