There is also a modify code that if set to 0 the quad-align will not turn on and you will have this error. It is one of the higher mod codes around 60-80......been so long i forget.... Good Luck Bob

You are probably scanning below the part. Adjust the scan height closer to 0 ex..(.005) and see if that works. If not....its probably the z-rod and the nozzle not seating on it correctly. Good luck

Just to clarify, you are talking about the inner black box not driving down and not the pneumatic function that brings the tactile assembly closer to the stencil? Sometimes the pneumatic shafts get slightly bent and the assembly will not retract. T

Hi Haverhill DavidF, SMTA, SMTnet, I should know this, since Dave does raise a good point that involves the Charge Coupled Model for how ESD creates an event. Be careful you don't blow those components as you seek to create higher and higher vacuum
