As an alternative Aurotek looked quite good, and I've seen a few in Europe. https://www.aurotek.com/en/ Based in Taipei, so not far from the Chinese market.

What do people recommend for laser marking ? Needs to have the following: Inline, Double-sided marking capability. Either with btm/top laser or preferably internal flip, China support (Close to Shanghai) Chinese language capable. Thanks.

To connect the DEK printer and the KY SPI you will need to add the SPI closed loop upgrade to your DEK. It is a simple software and cable connection.
