I need a source to get several thousand SMT ICs re-tined, does anyone know of anyone that can do this for us. the parts are in tape and reel and will need to be repackaged also. We are in a bind the part itself is an end of life component and these w

Reflow profiler / mole /Thermal Couple

We are in the process of purchasing a mole for our reflow oven. We've only looked at one model and it works well however, my accountablilty partners desire that we look at other options before we make the decision. Looking at about 3k. Opinions from

ECD has some advantages in terms of upgrade path. Once you buy the ECD SuperM.O.L.E., you can use it in a OvenRIDER, WaveRIDER and ReworkRIDER products. The OR, WR and RR are solder machine management devices for solder process control. Where profile

Can anyone recommend a reflow profile for already flowed solder?

We always use the regular production reflow profile when we use this method. Since you don't want to do that, All that is required is to ramp the part up to temp to get the balls to melt. If you don't exceed 2C per sec. in a ramp you will be fine.

Indium NC-SMQ92J paste problems

Electronics Forum | Fri Apr 23 08:20:25 EDT 2004 | babe

Sometimes solder balling is related to oxidized paste or paste that has sat on the pcb too long before reflow. Mostly it is related to process, sorry... Too slow or too fast of a reflow ramp rate. Heating up an assembly too quickly will not allow the

yes this paste is a pain in the paste.... there are very few reasons for solderballs, component to pad ratio and placement.... solder paste control, using a mixer, not hand mixing, checking viscosity and temp..... or simply and bad profile and your

I found much ICT fails on the same location(Ref.des:Q166) on my boards. 1.Defects rate:more than 20%. 2.We measured the value of the transistor before reflow oven,it's ok.but measure again after been reflowed, result is fail.it seems fails happen duri

Lets make it easy on the poor guy, some are correct, check you profile but remember one thing most do not apply, it is important to match the type of paste you are using with the style of oven and configuration. send a direct email and I will give so

Gabriele, yes you're right, but my question is more focused to restrictions as for the Operators, and then the performance in Screen Printer and Oven. The board has 400 high speed parts and 20 parts for Odd Shape machine (QFPs and 2 BGAs), Board is n
