I have a Jewel box and have found it to be a very simple system to operate. We have had several turn overs with operators and the new people master the machine in a very short period of time. You are right. This is an excellent machine.

Voids are quite common. You just need to make sure that it is not excessive per your assembly criteria. Take a look at a D-pak under X-ray.

Hi, champagne voiding is the term for small flux enclosures in a solder joint. Under X-ray that looks like the bubbles in a champangne glass. Marcus

In production,we are seeing high defect for Hair Line Solder Shorts for PTH connector and the Hair Line is too tiny that X-Ray and ICT could not detect.Any suggestion on how we can resolve or at least detect this upfront.
