I brought all the major players machines in house and tried them. VisiConsult was the best hands down. Extremely simple GUI..no adjusting to get correct counts. The counting cloud feature is also a very slick tool. Support is 5 star.

VJ Electronix has some great counters and the pricing is competitive. There's great info and datasheets here. https://www.vjelectronix.com/smt-inventory-management-with-x-ray-component-counting/

Thank you for your great feedback! Yesterday we watched an online demo of the DAGE Assure and the software seemed to work well.

Is there a specific category or chapter you need? I believe I have access to one, but unfortunately it is not digital.

Does anyone have a copy of this software? Or by chance know how I can get a copy of the online command set? We need to load programs to a Topax x via rs232 or ethernet. Thank you

What is this software? Do you have a LAN card inserted into the machine? I thought about adding a LAN card and LANTASTIC software (old, under DOS) but maybe you have a better idea?

Why is your customer controlling your process? You should be the expert on your processes. As long as the components that are on your second side would stay if they were processed as the first side this would be an acceptable solution to your issue

I'm not clear on your current process. You run FIRST SIDE. Then paste and build SECOND SIDE. Then you insert a header from the FIRST SIDE so the pins solder with paste on the SECOND side. And you run the board with the unsoldered header on the bot
