Try to measure the profile again by datasheet..with the result that you will reduce the temperature in the areas below...increase the upper temperatures as needed according to the properly measured profile...I hope you can solve the problem like this

I personally prefer a NC process if I have to chose. AIM flux was good NC377 I think(they keep changing names), NF 372 from and many more. You can make them all work...the KISS 104 ...

I'm trying to visualize how that machine is laid out. Do they all rotate together, on a belt, so that there's only one sensor for the theta (R) home position?

They all rotate on the same belt but, 2 per head on heads 2, 4, 6, and 8. Placed on the front and back. Held by a bracket with 2 screws. But no matter how tight I set the screws upon adjustment they still get out of whack.

Steve, we have great system in place to trace the paste and it's compliance. This board is actually very busy and all is soldered great besides this capacitor. I will keep investigating.
