Several weeks ago, there were some postings about a new product for reducing dross in the wave solder pot. It was, I think, a liquid. Both for Tin/Lead and lead free solder. Anyone remember who this vendor is?

Hi AJ, I have never used the Pulsar, but have seen it. I worry about it clogging all the time. Also being "hand held" over a hot pot wories me too. Look for something automated. My $0.02 and only an opinion.

I would be leary of a "Sucking" machine and hot liquid solder. Kester makes pellets that you put on top of the pot to seperate dross from lead. Technical Devices has a solder recovery machine Cal Agilent Technologies

Hi all, I wonder if some of you have experience in use of dross eliminator as a Kester 5744 or maybe with MS2 Molten Solder Sulfactant. I would like to know if they give good results in process and pot cleaning. Regards, Betsy
