Pete is correct. Lead from the "Leaded" parts will leach into the solder pot and eventually the Pot will become contaminated with unacceptable levels of lead. At that point the entire pot will have to be emptied and cleaned. NOT a fun thing to do!!

If you have a servo or encoder problem you should be getting alot of errors. Are all feet leveled on a stable floor? It wouldn't take much to shake them. A full coke machine weighs more.

test at the bare board level consists of opens and shorts. It makes sure that all traces are hooked (connected) up to the appropriate place and they are not shorted to a non common conductor. Russ

We've had a customer request that we check the PPM level of oxygen at our wave solder's inerters. I'm looking on the web, and there seems to be a huge variety of these instruments. Can anyone make a recommendation on one that is working for you? T
