Unfortunately Gerber EZ is probably the one thing I know very little about. As an FSE with Speedline I only had one client at that time that was using it and an application engineer came in and helped them with it. Sorry I can't give a direct answer

In my case most of the PCBs are OSP finishing and worst case of MSD component on bottom side is level 3 (168 hours). You mean that PCB shelf life with bottom side assembled shoud be 84 hours?

I don't believe there should be any issues with the HASL finish. The issue is how long on the shelf and is a bake out required to remove moisture from PCB, as in any FR4 PCB's that may have had time to absorb moisture.

Hi Jack, I once tried this finish ( without changing any process parameters ) and encountered wetting problems even in the first reflow process. It was thought as cheaper alternative to Ni/Au we use for planarity reasons. Heard of the same problems
