Can anyone tell me why Philips would obsolete my feeders. I am trying to add a newer machine to my line and I am told that the feeders from my 84VZ no longer work. Is this true?

Have you looked at TDK's VC series? The newer vintage models are gems (VC7's, etc), but hard to find. Good Luck.

To the best of my knowledge from some fellow field guys who used to work for Phillips, yes. Yamaha still makes the machines for Assembleon's GEM line.
