George, We are more in the assembly programming and documentation side of manufacturing, but we deal with many Contract Assemblers and a popular software package for your needs is Manex. I wish I knew more about it. Maybe someone else can help out.

Try George King at SCI in Hunsville AL. the have done so much stuff for the military since 196?. Plant 1 is al about HI REL and MIL SPEC. they do small jobs as well as big jobs.

if george idea doesn't solve ur problem then it must either be the driver or the y-axis motor itself.try swaping the driver with other machines if u can afford it . good luck.keep me posted of the developments.
