Sorry about taking so long to respond.......The quadalign is a retrofit. You cant just buy a quad-align and mount it on the machine. There is different firmware, cables, and other stuff. Good luck

The camera's are different. I think you can get them repaired but you should be able to find used/new ones. Try PPM as a supplier of old quad parts. Good luck

I have programmed and used both. The IVC is just an upgraded model of the IIC. They both work the same, same sofware, feeders, etc. The IVC just has more bells and whistles. I'm not sure what the differences are but I would opt for the IVC because I

I'm thinking vibe feeder as well. I saw this alot on older machines (Quad IVC) vibe was set too high making parts jump around. If it is a vibe feeded, look for spillage behind the feeder base.

I agree with Steve Thomas, The Quad IVC is a good machine for what you have described, it is small, chugs right along and is dependable. 1 head makes for some boredome watching it but is well over the 500 component mark. Good Luck with your purchase.

I beleive that the big difference between the 2 machines is accuracy with the 4C having the better. Nozzles and feeders would be the same.

Have you performed the camera to nozzle calibration ? I can send you instructions for this if you need them.
