White solder mask does have a tendency to yellow within the lead free environment. so double coating will not help any. I due believe the flux is a factor in the yellowing but due to the color is the main reason. Find out what brand of S/M mask they

If the thermal mass of the products is small, a tent-shaped profile is recommended, with peak temperature around 240C. The hottest spot on board should be less than 250C. However, if the thermal mass of the product is large, such as a large server PC

The budget is very small, if there is genuinely a saving to be had by moving this work in-house and away from subcontracting you should really be able to justify spending more. If you can't increase the budget maybe try shopping around for more compe

Hi Dave, I haven't tried the Probimer yet, but the Taiyo ink didn't hold up too well. As a PCB fabricator, finding a white soldermask that has good trace coverage and survives 4X solder immersion (HASL) is like the holy grail of white soldermask.

Hello Netters, I need some info, Earl or Dave, I have a PCB that exhibits a white layer on solder side. It does not appear to be surface residues (IPA has no effect), but looks like its under solder mask. My first guess is that the LPI solder mask
