Xrays go through aluminum quite well. I've xrayed BGAs with heat sinks that were well over an inch tall and they only made faint shadows. What material is the bottom of the PCB? And how are you going to bond to it?

We buy padded bags from ULINE. They work well and are self sealing also, we reuse so we don't seal them. They come in a wide array of sizes as well.

There are A LOT of manuals for GSM2. The most reasonable way is to register machine with UIC (~500USD) and you will get access to their WEB-based archives as well as part store. Well worth the money.

Thanks, we'll try this too. We aquired an asymtek millenium for dispensing selectively. It is setup for epoxies with a needle dispense head so we'll try to make it all work for us. One-part silicones seem to be the popular solution.
