ImAg is the Surface finish of choice for Intel mother boards....Tin/lead and lead free processes. I think palladium and soft gold are the preferred for wire bondable apps.

UP AND RUNNING!!! Power supply is good but i found two loose wires in connector 12PL26 (DC to Y1). I think i may have another bad connection inside the Y1 enclosure. Monitor seems to be working OK. Thanks for your help, jsk

Far be it from me to introduce some additional scepticism, but that looks like an ordinary wrist strap, with standard push fit popper for connection to earth. If it was a wireless device surely it wouldn't need a connection point for a wire? Rob.

I rebuilt 6348A's for about 13 years. Check the contact at the clip locator. It's dirty, broken, or the wire is starting to come out of the crimp. Jerry

That's what I thought it was. We may very well contract this out. We don't have underfill capability and the volumes may not warrant us investing. Do you know of someone doing this? I don't know at this time if it is the flip chip or the wire
