Paul, Unfortunately the Mydata site is set up in such a way that I cannot send a link. If you are a Mydata customer, call them and ask them to send you the article via e-mail.(Instead of waiting on Sweden to send you a login) The timing can cause pi

I'm looking for a No Clean low or an ultra low flux residue solderpaste (SAC305 and Sn/Pb). Any Recommendation? Is there something in the datasheet that will tell if a solder paste is really a low residues flux. Also is there a method to clean the

It's hard to say since cleanliness on my product may be acceptable, but may fail on yours. If you really are worried about flux residues, or need to pass some cleanliness spec, you may want to look into water soluable. Otherwise, most of the name b

The cover tape on 0805, 1206 and IC reels occasionally does not pull back clear of the tape and our Fuji IP-1 stops. Although some feeders appear to be more vulnerable to this than others, is this a feeder problem or is this a material problem with

Bert, The original IP feeders do a poor job of peeling the cover tape. Things to check: -All teeth present on the take-up reel -Take-up reel has even drag as it rotates (reel out of round or dirty) -Take-up reel drag is not too high (locations and

I have in the past had lots of problems with soldering film caps (same problems as you), but that was mostly before the manufacturer redesigned them. Profiles and changes in paste netted some improvements but it really took changes at their end to re

I have to hold parts down in my wash baskets. I heard there is a rubber mat with cut outs similar to the screen mesh that the wash basket has. This mat goes over the boards and keeps them from moving through the wash cycle. Has anyone seen this produ

Hi Grant, I can't speak for reliability, I don't know how your boards are going to be used or what alloys you are using. As for RoHS compliancy as far as I understand the cut off if July 1. So any boards sold before that in the EU are OK. Best regard
