Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 26 06:39:19 EDT 2001 | nifhail

How do you guys monitor your feeder's history/record. Is there any database available in the market to keep track feeders in your line such as caliration's due date, last calibration dates etc. ( basically the historical data for individual tracking)

CP642's vision process error

Hi mantis, Thank you for your helps. I had checked the CP7 error code index application. It also gives me the same answer. It tell me " the part pickup status is bad" and I have to "Make sure that the nozzle is not bent and that the part is being pro

Sal, Silly question: Were the parts skewed before they went into the oven? I've chased down a few similar reflow problems in my lifetime, only to find out it was a pick and place problem. Wrong nozzle size, bad nozzle, feeder not advancing all

Pad Sizes

I need advice on a pad design which several other engineers whom I work with would like to try. I think it is an utterly crazy but I can't seem to convince them differently. My current 0402 chip pad sizes on alumina and FR4 substrates are .022"X.

HOW TO REDUCE MACHINE COMPONENT ATTRITION?

Electronics Forum | Thu Mar 22 12:46:43 EDT 2007 | Hussman

Those Panasonic machines should be able to tell ya pick-up rates form the feeders and shape code errors (components it doesn't recognize). You will probably get a more pick-up errors than anything else. Most of this is due to plastic tape versus pa

All, We are getting ready to start running with 0201 passives. I have never run these before. We have run some 0402s however. We don't have any assemblies in-house yet, so I can't give any intelligent information regarding the board design (size,

We're currently running a manncorp ECM-93, which has served us alright, but we've pretty much outgrown it. We manufacture power electronics, a lot of double sided designs with odd form parts. We have about 30 different designs we manufacture, and we

Pick & place

Hi, I don't know anyone who uses Mancorp, and apart from this forum have never heard of them. I guess the big problem I faced when getting into SMT is trying to find a machine that could do what we wanted at a good cost. I originally purchased MYD
