um thanks I have just got back into the settings and switched back on, for most of the time I have it switched on but now and again switch it off, just because "what is the difference?" at this stage I will never know.

Thanks Bob, Any idea on how to switch between the front & back monitor/keyboard. This machine doesn't have a front/back switch like my other one. i am guessing that there is a keyboard sequence that i need to hit.

We heard back from Ipulse/Yamaha today. I'll have the quote back on the Ipulse M20 tomorrow. I'll keep you posted but the Ipulse seems to be much more cost effective. We are looking at the 12 head version. You guys are great.... Thanks so much!

Actually the battery back up can cause the exact problem you are describing. Even if you didn't say that I would have said the same thing to check your ups and the batteries. If there is an outlet that by passes the battery back up, use that and see
