We are using NC. Paste doesn't seem to have an effect on the solderability on a bad batch of ENIG. When ENIG has gone bad, throw the board out.

Just take care about reflow profile with this kind of product, you can get a bad-formation in your PCB (Flexcable or your flexcircuit) however you want to call... This bad-formations looks like a solderballs (Microscopio) Regards Jesus

There were problems with the flux capacitors at my prevous job....the electrical guy kept pointing it out and the Hungarian mechanical guy would say "Umph, this is bad, very, very bad!".

Well i wouldn't run every board then!!!! okay seriously, All bad parts off the same each time or are they "all over the place" Check your mount height, you may have sagging or warped boards or just bad part height

Oh yeah, be careful about inviting your local government into your facility. I did it years ago and ended up with monthly visits and a sewer monitor gizmo in our waste pipe. Not that we were doing anything bad, but the attitude we received was bad.

In electronic manufacture, it's never good when "oozing" is part of the conversation. "Bridging" that's bad too. "Melting" sometimes good, sometimes bad. Got pix? How about some nice color pictures?

The nerds say they've fixed the problem. They say the problem was caused by bad, obsolete code. Based on my review, I believe that they corrected the problem. Good job nerds!!! Hopeful, our faith in man [and woman]-kind is restored with this fix.
