Has anybody had issues with the Mydata centering jaws causing esd and part damage. I understand we can lower the force on the components but ESD is my main concern. In the past I heard of companies testing the centering jaws because of this concern.

The majority of SMT resistors use the following notation. 10 X eg 153 represents 1k5 resistor The third digit in the sequence denotes the number of zeros to add after the first two digits giving the value in ohms. Many Caps will follow the same nota

We are trying to establish requirements and process controls for completed, cleaned SMT assemblies. We have problems with our high impedance circuits (100 meg ohms) being affected by residue. Some boards require additional cleaning cycles to remove

Hello John, the answer of your question is more organizational than technical. Most CEM use their own part number system(you will need to purchase software for that), and that is exactly what you want to do.You can have 5 different resistors 10kOhm

This issue is coming from a customer. The customer demands that we do not mechanically center or test passive components, because of issues they had in the past. There has been a studies that it takes about 8-10 newtons to damage chip. Most of our pa
