My pleasure. My experience with Heller's tech support has always been top-notch. And, as one of the few capital equipment companies that will support after-market machines without excessive registration fees, I always recommend Heller machines. ..

Thanks all for your replies. I ended up getting an older second hand machine (2003 Heller 1707 EXL) from a local company upgrading their assembly line. It is in mint conditions and was used in air conditioned room and had maintenance every 3 months.

Hi, I am looking for software for 2003 model 1707 EXL reflow oven (HC1 controller). I believe latest version for that model is 1.0.6.5.8 (98 Win) or 4.0.2.1 for XP. Thanks

Contact Heller customer support directly. They are very good about supporting third-party machines. They are also active here on the forums. Cheers, ..rob

There is a oven setup wizard on my 1809. your oven probably has one too. there you should be able to adjust blower speed for each zone.

Blower speed control is an option. If you have it, there will be an icon on the toolbar. Hover the mouse over the buttons for description.

I used to have the same issue with reed switches on one product we ran. Same oven too. We ended up rigging up an "umbrella" with two titanium stiffeners and bare PCB as the roof. It was hokey but it worked.

Good idea DWL, "Umbrella" thing works to solve this problem temporarily. But do you think it will cause any damage to hitter or heat zone?

Might be able to get a VM to work on a newer PC. Edit: my bad, missed the part where you already tried a VM
