Mostly, you don't want to do that. Whoever designed the PCB should be able to produce a "pick and place report" or similar file that lists components by designator (R123) component value/type (100 Ohm 0805) and XY and rotation. If there's absolutel

The play of the tape is quite significant as I mentioned in an earlier thread. Tape width can vary between 8.1 +/- 0.2mm. Demos on 0201's are most likely done with 8.1 +/- 0.05mm tape. I guess you are referring to the cover tape pull, which can dispo

One thing that it doesn't make sense, I have never seen the GSM picking up one component leads down, present it to the camera leads down and reject it. Just so it can pick two more components from the same reel and present it leads up and accept it.

Have you tried rotating the board 90 or 180 going into the oven? With inductive components there's a possibility of magnetic current buildup, that pulls the component to one of the pads. Although, I've only seen it on larger inductors. Also, the pres

Yes, the import data type is a common issue with electronics contract manufacturers and some OEM's. Unisoft ( http://www.unisoft-cim.com ) has been doing this for over 35 years. The software focuses on contract manufacturers issues and the software

Hi Nizar, Pick and Place nozzle, pick-up speed, component symmetry if it has to be rotated while picked up are just some things I would look at. See also if the trays you pick connectors up from, are programmed correctly to the machine. You can al
