I've been looking into BGA rework stations. I have narrowed it down to two: Summit 750 by VJ Electronix APR-5000-XLS by OK International They both have easy to use profiling and have a good robustness as far as maintaining your profile.

Our company will begin evaluating BGA machines pretty soon. It takes too much time to send the boards back to our conract house for rework. Can you provide some numbers as to how much the Summit 750 and APR5000XLS cost?

Brian, The SRT FPD-W is an older unit that has been successful for a long time. We have used it at BEST with good results. The SRT FPD-W is a very good machine for the uses you mentioned except possibly for the BGAs. I have seen some used for BGA
