Also, be sure that your support pins are set correctly and do not allow the board to sag or bounce. Next, is your z correct? Its possible you are pushing the part so hard into the PCB that it's pushing back up or even bouncing the board and throwin

Try the method I mentioned earlier, it greatly improves most of the picked-but-drops issues. We never need to use any custom make nozzles, even for the trapezoid dome shaped LED we were having the issue with. Use smaller round diameter nozzle would

You described cleaning the spindles and filters, but did you clean the nozzles? Perhaps you got some paste on the nozzle. Also, did you perform the vacuum and blow off testing? Make sure your solenoids are working properly. Is it all 6 heads that

There is one thing to be checked too. That is to make sure the nozzle not going too deep when lower to pick up the part. I found a lot of picking errors issues are due to nozzle going down too deep into the pocket. If it does, it pushes the component

Potential causes are: * Static charge [get a deionizing fan] * Adhesive on the inside of the cover tape [fix your supplier]

Agree with Davef. Smaller the chip, more the static charge. I used to see this even with normal chips. Get an ionizer blow. It should solve your problem. May be switch to antistatic tape if affordable.Regards. GV

Hi could be relaited to the thermal mass of the screw/bolt. if there is no intermatalic formed and the solder just picks off id say this is likely. the hot wave hits the cold screw and cools the solder enought to leave some behind??
