Guess- If a component drops at the camera the machine will not proceed to attempt to place it and drive the nozzle into a brick of solder paste. The line sensor will catch the fact there is no component on the nozzle and will retry to pick and place.

Hi, I think that price UIC is acceptable, for example we have GC120 with full pack (145pcs) of feeders by 45 kUSD . Machines are in perfect condition.

We found the maintenance & general run costs of UIC compared to panasonic to be on the level of we could buy another base panasonic machine. I am talking high volume going thru ours though so could be a factor.

We loose power all the time. So, we have a UPS the size of a four of cases of beer on our telephone system. On placement machines, most people opt for an orderly machine shut-down, rather than completing the program, but you can do it either way.
