Electronics Forum | Wed May 19 09:44:24 EDT 2004 | rlackey

Hello again Grant, In addition to our Fuji CPs we run Universal machines, and although they are pretty reliable, they are not in the same league. Regarding Fuji Placement speed we hit 30K plus on a couple of boards with no issues, but you do have t

Fuji Pick and Place Machines

We have in our facilities in Mexico more than 150 FUJI machines (CPs, IPs, QPs, GPs), they're in fact Bombproof, but it is not amazing to do that with 1206, SOTs on SOPs, we just feel a kind of disappointed with that 10K hours service, that means yo

Universal GSM and 0402/0201 Placement

Electronics Forum | Fri Jan 16 15:46:07 EST 2015 | comatose

We did 0402s for years on a GSM. Is this a flexjet or a 4 spindle head? A flexjet is easy with 0402s. The four spindle nozzles are big, you run into issues with knocking already places parts and having to Z zone carefully (and beware repair cycles.)

I doubt you will be able to get satisfactory results with 0201. 0402 is another story. When doing 0402 projects, we use only electric (MP) feeders and always at the same feeder slots (feeder teach done for each of them). MPF08 nozzle works fine. Also

We can offer several nozzles to assist with the placement of 0402/0201 components in the four-spindle head. We offer the 06MPF along with custom ceramic tipped nozzles. Most of our standard nozzles for this head type are less than $125.00 each. Chec

Electronics Forum | Tue Apr 25 20:22:32 EDT 2023 | ttheis

We have a line running GSM1 machines and we are considering upgrading to GX-11S machines with FJ3 heads. Does anyone know if the GX-11S machines can take pneumatic feeders from the GSM machines? We have a very large inventory of the pneumatic and ele

Universal GX-11S and Pneumatic Feeders?

Electronics Forum | Wed May 03 13:35:00 EDT 2023 | ttheis

Thanks, Deni! We're replacing two 4-spindle GSM's with two GX-11S with Flex3 front and IL4 in the rear. These we plan to use a mix of our pneumatic & 24V feeders as well as high speed feeders as we acquire them. The sellers advised that the 24V kits
