You have to keep the oil containers for the chains loaded with oil. The procedure is automatic and you will run it based on your usage. Other than that our 10zone Pyramax is running for 5years without any failure.

We use component BFU730LX and we have one problem. After reflow transistor base or collector lands are not soldered. Maybe someone have similar problems with this component? We tryed to change stencil pads (smaller , bigger) but problem is the same.

Does any one know how to calculate BGA height change after reflow oven? I guess the calculation will be based on the component size, weight, ball diameter and ball count of the BGA, but how to get the actual height?

Dial indicator on a post/base. You might need a fine point tip to get between adjascent components and the BGA. Or... if you're real fance schmancy you could use a CMM if you have one.

bake the pcba, continue with the aqueous cleaning but after the cleaning bake them in a circulated oven. we do that with some of our pcbs here we use a water base flux, we clean it and then we bake them for 10 minutes at 190F

If it is a Vortex Cassette error, that is based on "Cassette Life" Programmed into Product file. Maybe erroneous software setting.

Why don't you fix the PCB flatness instead? If that is not the problem, I will check the part warping during the reflow process. If the part is large as you mentioned, it probably warps a lot during reflow. Try to bake the parts in front, based on MSL

You may want to search the UIC knowledge base for troubleshooting. If you do not have access to UIC's website (second hand machine) you can call and register your machine for $500.

Brad, have you got any calibration jigs with the machine? This could also be down to laser offset or laser scaling which are both calibrated with different jigs. Where are you based?
