I don't think there's really any industry standard tolerance setting or value. It's safe to open up the tolerances pretty wide as long as your placement accuracy doesn't suffer.

Samsung charges $5,000/year to keep a machine under warranty. I thought that was too high. The SM320/SM482 are on my wish list but annual maintenance contract & support are pushing me off. Definetly heeding your advice for dust free enviornment.

We have the sm481 10 head it runs about 20k per hour we are i n the USA if that machine is used for 50 to 60k it probably in bad shape or if it is from offshore you buy at your own risk.

What temperature were you running it at previously? We are having the same issue when using WS488 flux. Which flux was causing you issues?

How can you make a cathode for selective gold plating edge connector. I know you can add bus/tie bars but we want to remove them and just want to do selective hard gold plating of gold fingers.

Yes, 2 of our more enterprising engineers in the last place created routers out of 2 old AOI's (Photon Dymanics I think).
