You have given little detail for anyone to help. What types of components are laying in the machine? Are these components missing from the PCB? But you can check these things. 1. Check vacuum at nozzles 2. Check for obstructions in the path of the

Nitrogen purity requirments

The manufacterer of our machine recommends 99.999%. At their presentation before we purchased the machine they showed an example of using different purity levels. When they whiched the supply to 99.99 and then to 99.95 you can visibly see the diffe

Bert what you say is correct, the RoHS says "put EEE first time on the market", so that means that if EEE have been sold to a Importer before 1 July 2006 (demonstrate by invoicing and not sure but also customer clearance documentation) they can be p

No suspense at all. The sky is bluer and the grass is greener all ready (just like the RoHS pictures everyone sticks on their boxes). The air is much cleaner as well; so much so, I've noticed colors I've never seen before. People are nicer and tip

MYData placement variations

I've seen the tool head move components if the component list isn't grouped according to size. If you group your taller components higher than the others then they will be placed later. I used to see a lot of shifting with large keyhole vias used

MYData placement variations

We recently scrapped our TP9-2U because of an issue similar to this. The X-axis would overshoot the pick and place positions. This particular machine(2U)only has 1 X motor. The UFP's and the MY machines have a small fine positioning motor that is on

Hi, Don't know about your machines, but our XP Fuji machines have a lubrication tube linking the under side of the machine to the top, so you can put a grease gun on it, and push grease into hard to reach places. Does yours have that? If your heari

can't you pull the leadscrew cover back? you usually can on fuji machines. pull it back and clean the leadscrew down then smother it with grease and manually run the axis back and forth a couple of times. then repeat until the grease is not discol

Thank you all for your input. The MF300S Multicore flux is rated for lead free. There is not much dross or contamination. We are using nitrogen. I've tested the boards with the curing test of IPC-TM-650. I think you're all right about the preheat.

I agree with Grant. The MYDATA machines we had were very easy to program, adjust and as Grant states make them pick up from just about anything. The best part of them was using partial reels or strips of parts. These machine don't care about havin
