What is your micro BGA requiremnets? I mean ball dia / height with a 0.5 mm pitch? I can give you the stencil design, if you make known the parameters.

I have another question: Does the slope of the conveyor is an important parameter in the solder joint quality? What is the standard in degree? Does that parameter can resolve my problem of partial fulling hole (between 50 and 75%)?

Hi Greg, Is anyone logging the errors at QC/touch up stage so they can feed them straight back to SMT and fix them? (i.e. skipped components, poor paste coverage etc) Obviously the faster you spot an error the cheaper it will be for you. Cheers,

We have a couple of presses we use for cutting adhesive backers & depanelising flex's etc. You can usually get away with steel rule dies which cost a couple of hundred dollars instead of hard tooling.

Have any of you ever experienced minor eruptions in your solder bath while it is heating up? Our solder bath splashes solder while it's heating. Once the bath is molten, it no longer does. Can anyone suggest a cause?

Rule 1: Clean it as soon as you see it! Don't let it dry. It's harder to clean up and can be easily injested when in a dry powder form. Rule 2: See rule 1

How much more? A couple degrees? That would be normal from one board to another, depending if the t-coupls are in the exact same spot etc. What type oven? IR ovens can be affected by colors.

other than the fact that silver is a better conductor of heat, I can't think of anything.
