Try using glue dots under the SOT before reflowing the parts and see if that doesnt resolve your problems. Chris

Seems interesting ... I am certain this could be resolved. But first one question: How did you monitor the reflow profile at this component? How and where was the thermocouple connected?

I believe the gentleman in India found a problem with one of the EuroSystem cards; AND then an issue with a corrupted PC MINT on the HDD... Seemingly resolved.

Hi Bert, For your second issue, are the tools well lubricated? If not the Midas head can fail to grab the tool and can generate the z motor error. Doing this followed by a base-centre level measurement should resolve your problem. Steve

There were some issues with the older grid-lok systems that have been resolved in the newer designs. We run them in all of our printers and Fuji chip shooters. The only issue we see is that the air pressure may need adjusted on thin boards.
