Personally, I'd go with the Electronics... the engineering degree may open more doors for you if you decide to pursue a different avenue. (ie. mechanical, robotics, etc.)

Hi Mark, When we last checked out the laser systems you had to either use a solder preform or apply solder paste to the area, which meant either dispensing or some clever printing. Cheers, Rob.
