Motherboard become NO POST when humidity increase to 90%

Electronics Forum | Fri Nov 20 09:07:43 EST 2009 | Sean

Hi all, Another thing that I would like to discuss here is that I used to come across few reports that mention about the flux residue has great impact on the PCBA impedance, especially when everything become smaller and smaller...I mean, when mother

In 90% humidity it’s easy to get condensation. Condensation will create electrical failure when the board isn’t conformal coated. In your case the failure disappears when the humidity level drops so to me it’s unlikely that the flux has anything to d

Dave, I would only agree with you when you talk about low residue (water based) fluxes. In low residue (alcohol based) fluxes you can use non water soluble acids, so in the event you still have flux residues on the board water has no effect on them.

MY 19 Issues?

Electronics Forum | Mon Dec 07 09:43:09 EST 2009 | kpm135

Just to throw my two cents in the MY19 could be slower than the other my machines due to the greater distance the head has to travel to pick up and place the components. The longer distance could also account for extra wear and tear on the motors and

We've used mostly cartridges for many years and I only saw separation once when a particular paste supplier had a problem. With cartridges it's just thaw and use - no mixing. We have some sites that use jars along with mixers and I've never been co

Craig - It has been quite a while but from what I remember you teach the tray holder in teach table top. Then you have to put the part/tray on the the tray holder. Also, ensure the part is in your program. I don't remember where to do that but I

Oh, the CSM only has one XY offset for each feeder rail. If you don't like it, you can teach any particular feeder location. The crazy thing is the teach camera is an inch in front of the heads (-25 mm Y) so you can't put the teach camera over the

Hi, I know that I been out for this exact error message before (several years ago) and I am just thinking about it. It was something simple... Ok. When You say stops in the middle of placement phase; Do you mean in the first task block, have it alre

You don't by any chance have a s/w called Motion Control s/w? it's on 1-2 floppy diskettes and it will boot from it also. Normally only the UIC field engineers have/has? this. With this we can actually run each axis & valve or whatever independentl
