Anyone try Cyberoptics SAM technology before? My company do not have so many talent engineers to handle algorithm tuning :( What to do?

Sorry but I have never worked with a machine that has the Cyberoptics system. Have you tried talking to PPM (www.goppm.com), They have been very helpful to me.

Thanks for the suggestion, Bobpan. I'll start looking for a replacement coax cable. Would we be better off to look for a Quadalign system and replace the Cyberoptic unit? Doug

Has anyone any experience with using the latest version of this software? If so I am interested in hearing how you use it to reflect the different metrics for quality reports.

You are correct about KY having the lions share of 3D AOI in the industry. They were 2-3 years ahead of everyone else to entry, but the gap is closing quickly as the overall capability of KY does not justify their higher price. On the SPI front, Cyb
